In the 1980's, American muscle cars were trying to make a comeback in the horsepower and fun department and the car at the forefront of that movement was the Ford Mustang Saleen with its dynamic styling, handling abilities and a potent 5.0L power-plant under its hood. Well we here at Streetside Classic Cars have an absolutely mint condition 2-owner 1988 Ford Mustang Saleen LX Hatchback here for you to consider and amazingly this car only has 7,679 original miles! This is #345 out of only 708 total Saleen produced in 1988 and the mileage is 100% verifiable with a clear Carfax and other records to back it up. Dressed in Oxford White with its Multi-Gray graphics and color matched BBS wheels, this stout and numbers matching Fox-body Saleen is ready to enter your Mustang collection and is sure to only appreciate in value over time.
The 7,679 original miles on the odometer and backed up by full title documentation, so this absolutely pristine '88 Saleen not only looks incredible, but drives just as well with its 5.0L 302CI HO V8 pumping out 235hp and 300ft lbs of torque. The first owner of this car put it away in his garage and literally placed it into a bubble so it has been very well preserved all these years. The 5.0L V8 is mounted to a smooth and responsive shifting 5spd manual transmission that pulls strong, lighting up those rear wheels is done at will. The stock 8.8"rear end houses 3.55 gears which quickly brings you up to speed and with the Mass Air Fuel Injection conversion, stomping on the gas pedal has never been so responsive. Chromed valve covers and intake finish off this highly detailed engine bay so taking her to your local cruise in or car show will likely win you a trophy or two. This car has a very small amount of modifications and all of them are reversible. We also have all the stock parts that were taken from the car including the original Saleen calibrated speed-density computer which is a rarity in and of itself.
The inside of this bad boy Pony car is just as nice as the outside and so well taken care of, this ultra-low mileage Saleen Mustang looks as good as she did when she rolled off the Dearborn, MI assembly line. The Gray cloth with vinyl looks incredible and is comfortable and with the lumbar support in the front bucket seats, those long road trips will be a piece of cake. Power windows, power door locks, AM/FM/Cassette, tilt steering wheel and cold blowing air conditioning are all in perfect working order. The ease of driving this head-turning Fox-body '88 Ford Mustang Saleen comes from the factory equipped power steering and power brakes with front and rear disc brakes. This car has been signed by Steve Saleen and comes with every piece of documentation any collector could hope for. We have both the original Ford window sticker for the LX Mustang before it was sent to Saleen and the original Saleen window sticker from the selling Ford dealer. We also have all original owner's manuals, tons of really neat and rare Saleen brochures from 1988, and we even the original metal warranty card with the first owner's name and address on it. You will not find a 1988 Mustang Saleen with more documentation than this car, we guarantee it. This is without a doubt one of the nicest and lowest mileage Saleen Mustangs in the market! One of the most sought after and desirable classic muscle cars is the 1967 Shelby Mustang GT350. But with average price tags reaching in the six figures nowadays, those cars might be out of reach for you. Or maybe you already have an original Shelby but want a car you won't be afraid to drive. Enter this awesome GT350 Replica. Professionally built and restored from a '67 Ford Mustang fastback, this bad boy has only 838 miles of road time since the build was completed. One glance and you'll notice this car has the perfect Shelby appearance from the Dark Moss green paint down to the authentic 15" Kelsey Hayes aluminum wheels that are wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TAs.
At the center of this build sits a 351 Windsor V8 that's been built to make big block power without the added weight on the front end that can make a big block disadvantageous. When you start this Shelby tribute up, you hear one of the best sounding exhaust notes sing to your ears due in part to the full 2 1/2" stainless steel exhaust with Flowmasters and chrome tips which are mounted up to ceramic coated tube headers. The powerful 351 Windsor v8 that has been bored .060 over with forged pistons, roller rockers, Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake manifold topped off with a Holley 650cfm carb. While you're out in traffic on those Sunday afternoon drives, the twin SPAL electric cooling fans serve the full aluminum radiator nice and cool air and the MSD Ignition package helps ensure proper spark at all times. Gears are shifted by a rebuilt AOD 4 speed automatic transmission that sends power back to a Ford 9 Inch rear end housing highway friendly 3.00 gears. Power steering and four wheel disc brakes help this car perform as good as it looks no matter what the competition has in store.
Opening the door to this pristine Shelby tribute reveals an interior that is just as nice as the exterior. With its original two tone Green and Ivy Gold Pony interior, matching Ivy Gold carpet that is brand new, fold down rear seat, and the restored door panels and dash that also look new. From the LeCarra wood steering wheel to the Shelby roll bar with racing harnesses, this car screams 1960's performance. You'll also find a center console, white-faced gauges, and controls for the aftermarket air conditioning inside the cabin of this wonderful replica. An upgraded audio system with Sony AM/FM/CD delivers the tunes to your ears when the rumble of the exhaust is just too much. An alarm system keeps it all secure when you have to be away from this car but want your investment protected.
If you're looking for something between the run-of-the-mill Mustang Fastback and a real Shelby we encourage you to consider this extremely well built Shelby Restomod. A list of the car's Shelby added equipment is below:

When most people think of what the definition of a Hot Rod is, a picture of this ultra cool 1929 Ford Model A Tudor should be in the dictionary. Whether you're a car guy or gal, the icon of all Hot Rods is this Model A dressed in all Black with Flames burning down the side and a chopped windshield. Drive this bad boy down the strip and watch everyone's head turn in amazement and awe! This cool ride has been known to convert straight edge "Socias" over to the bad boy "Greaser" side. Stomp the gas pedal, feel the rear tires create an unmatched burnout and feel the wind rip through your hair as you get planted back in the seat and feel the biggest grin come over your face as you're given the white knuckle driving experience of your life.
Powering this cool rod is a Chevrolet 350ci V8 small block that has been bored .030 over to reach 355 cubic inches and is dressed in enough chrome to please even the most critical car lovers. 041 heads, a Comp cam with .280 duration, and Edelbrock aluminum intake with a Holley 670 Street Avenger 4bbl carburetor on top help the 350 make the most horsepower it can. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan and ceramic coated shorty headers which are mounted up to full 2" stainless steel dual exhaust with quad chrome tips produce an incredible head-turning rumble. The chrome alternator, starter, over-flow tube, water pump, brackets, polished aluminum valve covers and air cleaner give this car some show to go along with the go. The Ford 9" rear end houses 3.55 gears to give you all the power needed when called upon and the TH-350 transmission pulls strong and shifts smoothly for added confidence when you press the gas pedal to the floor. Sitting on polished Torq-Thrust wheels, and wrapped in great radial tires; 195/70/14 front and 295/50/15 rear; this bad boy has the right stance and with the front disc brakes, stopping her is without a problem.
Sporting a great Black paint job with the quintessential Orange and Yellow flames with blue pin striping surrounding the flames, the word "cool" may not be enough to describe the look or the feeling you get when you take this baby out for a drive. Black vinyl with Yellow piping covers the seat and matches the appearance perfectly. The front windshield has been chopped about 4 inches and the hand-painted pin striping on the dash and deck lid gives this '29 that personal touch. Vintage and Sunpro gauges give you all the vitals of the engine and cooling system. Suicide doors, trunk mounted gas tank, tear drop tail lights and the black with yellow trim trunk carpet all give this sweet ride the finishing touches that make this '29 Ford Model A one of the coolest rides around. The under-dash mounted JVC AM/FM/CD player with its 6 1/2" Blaupunkt door speakers creates music is heaven to your ears for when the rumble of the exhaust is just too much. So come on in to our huge climate controlled indoor showroom and take a look at this hot rod and when you get behind the wheel, the next place this cool ride will be calling home will be back home in your garage.
