I think it's a little early to write a requiem for American cars...they will never be like they were in the 50's and 60's but the world has changed, priorities are different, and quite frankly, I feel safer riding in a modern car. I have hope that American ingenuity is not dead, and that new propulsion systems be they hybrid, or hydrogen or solar will evolve, and we'll still get around! :) Jack
