I love and play lotsa different genres, but I gotta say Funk is my main thang, and basically most of the shit I like to play kinda have some funk in 'em, be it Latin, Jazz, House/Techno music, Heavy Metal, Reggae, I dont give a damn as long as I can get down to it.
Since I play out a lot, I don't have time to do as much videos as I want, but I be tryna do so more up next !
And mad shouts again for them comments, it's always cool to be readin' from what y'all are thinkin.
Keep it funk'd up

I was also involved in hiphop and it was a great experience working with rappers.
I also love to make drum'n'bass and detroit-style techno but don't have much time to really do something with it... maybe later !

Some simple advice I can give to any bassist:
We've been blessed because almost all of the music you can hear always has bass.
From classical to techno, there is always an instrument dedicated to hold the bottom.
Try to keep your ears open, and learn from any kind of bass, be it a synth, or a tuba, or a string bass, it doesn't matter cause it's all bass in the end.
It s gon open your mind to totally different conceptions. Take house music: when you program a bassline on a MIDI sequencer, you can play virtually anything cause there is no technical limitations. However, most house lines are incredibly minimal and effective.
Flatline, nobody gives a shit about the technical side of your playing, it can be easy, hard, fast, slow, anything. People just wanna hear bass that feels good.
Oh yeah, and try to play every style you can with as few instruments as possible. It will forge your style in the end.
