About Me:
 
Hi, I'm Roger Burnley, and I'm here to help you with your singing voice.

I started out as a singer, and ended up being a vocal coach, because I had soooo many issues with my own voice.

The first several years of my singing journey was a bitter struggle. You name the problem, I had it!

I didn't like my tone... couldn't hit my high notes... felt terrible in my throat and jaw... couldn't control my vibrato... and was totally and utterly CONFUSED!

After years of frustration though, I finally managed to turn it around. I literally traveled the country, learned from the best, and even worked closely with an Ear Nose Throat Doctor, which led me to an intimate understanding of the voice.

This transformation led me to teaching the voice, which I do every day in my studio in Hollywood California. I've taught everyone from big stars (such as Macy Gray, Brandy, Beastie Boys, Ray-J and many more), to broadway actors, lead singers in bands, all the way to people who just want to shine on the Karaoke stage, or sing beautifully in Church.

It thrills me to make instant transformations in my clients voices, however with the level of experience and expertise I've spent over 30 years developing, my rates are beyond what most are able to spend on singing lessons.

For this reason I've posted some of my best singing exercises and discoveries from the last 30 years here in this YouTube channel.

How do you keep your voice from sounding raspy? I feel like I always have to clear my throat before i sing but it just isn't enough. PLEEEEEEEAAAAAASSSSSEEEEEE HELP! :))

Hello from melissa black - voice teacher/pianist! That is EXACTLY what i have always taught my students also - when you are going for higher notes - don't "reach" for them - they are not "up there" on the ceiling - think "down" as you are going up the scale in other words. Really works - works for the lower notes too - i alway tell my gals to put those lower notes up higher in the head - in the "mask" - and it will make those lower notes richer and fuller and more placed where they should be and not stuck in the throat or chest - thanks!

Hey just curious. Is there any difference with this program and Brett Manning's popular "Singing Success"? I'm thinking of purchasing this, But i was wondering if it would be the same exact version(exactly similar exercises I mean) to the Singing Success Program.

THERES 1 PROBLEM which you maye be able to help me with (CONFIDENCE !!!) i love singing but CANNOT pluck up the COURAGE to sing infront pf people.
