Tips for people to be Happy!!!
How can you build self-esteem?
Many things you can do daily can have a significant impact on the way you feel about yourself. Practice these tips regularly to bolster your self-esteem.
1.Pay attention to your own needs and wants. Listen to what your body, your mind, and your heart are telling you.
2. Take good care of yourself. Eat healthy foods, avoid junk foods, exercise, and plan fun activities for yourself.
3. Take time to do things you enjoy. Make a list of things you enjoy doing. Then try do something from that list every day.
4. Do something that you have been putting off. Cleaning out your closet, going on a diet, or paying a bill that you've been putting off will make you feel like you've accomplished something.
5. Give yourself rewards. Acknowledge that you are a great person by rewarding yourself occasionally.
6. Spend time with people. People who make you feel better about yourself are great self-esteem boosters. Avoid people who treat you badly or make you feel about yourself.
7. Display items that you like. You may have items that remind you of your achievements, your friends, or of special times. Keep those special items close by.
8. Make your meals a special time. Get rid of distractions like the television and really concentrate on enjoying your meal, whether by yourself or with others.
9. Learn something new every day. Take advantage of any opportunity to learn something new every day- you'll feel better about yourself and be more productive.
10. Do something nice for another person. There is no greater way to feel better about yourself than to help someone in greater need. Check out local volunteer opportunities or make a special effort to be nice to those around you such as your parents or siblings.
