Hello there.
I will be using this channel to upload videos of classic console- and computer-games (and old movies, as of late). Anything between the Atari 2600 and DOS - with the addition of home computers like Commodore 64 and Amiga, of course. Most likely overlooked games, as they deserve attention.
...Or globally recognized classics.
But... I'm planning on making some walkthroughs, and THOSE might be dedicated to globally recognized classics!
...Or overlooked ones.
I may also upload videos of rare, unlicensed and unreleased games. Prototypes. And memorable clips from old movies!
Either way, I will try to upload a video (of any kind) at least once a week. But we'll see how that works out.
This is my third channel, by the way. I got the first back in 2006. Irrelevant, yes.
...Oh, and in case you wonder: the background is inspired by John Carpenter's Escape from L.A. And yeah, I made it completely from scratch. :)

About Me:
I'm an 18 year old guy hailing from Sweden. I obviously like video games a whole lot, 'tis my main interest. I play games of any genre you can imagine, for any console you can imagine, from any era possible. There certainly are too many fanboys around that stick to one thing and one thing only...and hate on everything else. If you're one of those, I'm probably not interested in your opinion. Not even if you're a Nintendo fanboy, despite the NES being my favorite console.
I also like music a lot. A whole lot. In fact, I could imagine making music for a living. Not saying I will or even can do it, but yes. What I listen to is mainly variations of heavy metal, be it classics like Iron Maiden or mighty different newcomers like Sybreed (industrial metal) or even Within Temptation (although they're more symphonic rock than symphonic metal today). While I am interested in the death metal subgenre, only a few "pure" death metal bands interests me. Death are nice, and so are Hypocrisy, but I have absolutely no interest in death metal bands without melodies and low, incomprehensible growling (á la Cannibal Corpse). That's not to say I don't like growls, though. Just if you can actually hear the words. This is why I usually tend to stick with sub-genres like melodic death metal, progressive death metal, technical death metal and the like. I also absolutely adore music for 8- and 16-bit consoles. And sometimes the music for more modern games, like Phantasy Star Online (although that one is like 12 years old now) and The Last Remnant. Heck yeah.
I also love watching movies a lot, which my long-ass favorites list below will tell you. I like most genres, except modern teen comedies and romantic comedies. Yuck.
I also have mild interest in...: Mythology (be it Egyptian or Norse), archaeology (blame Indiana Jones), astronomy, astrobiology, deep-sea marine biology, language, history (and pre-history for that matter), ancient cultures (I guess that goes into history, though), programming, muscle training (*cringes* don't slap me for mentioning!), technology, extreme sports, etc. All that crap. Oh, and of course, I also love art. No, not the pseudo-intellectual "lets paint 4 random shapes and call it a masterpiece"-art. Art that takes actual talent. Paintings. Art you see in comics. Concept art. Digital art. The whole bunch that actually represents something.
And, of course, my greatest interest: Your Mom.
If you care to know things about me that's not necessarily related to interests, I'm basically a so-called "man of science", but I don't fully devote myself to it (nor do I have to). It's complicated, though. Sometimes I feel compelled to believe, other times not at all. Let's picture ourselves a square room. Each corner represents atheism, agnosticism, freethinking, and religious scepticism, respectively. Where would I put myself? Somewhere in the middle. I could probably go even further into detail, but let's stop at that.
I over-complicate and over-think things constantly. I also worry about things I shouldn't. Hell, the worrying is often based on assumptions. I also have ADHD, which means I can be very impulsive and make stupid actions as I don't think them over. I might also have social anxiety disorder, which of course might contribute to my worrying, and also mean that it is, in fact, not-so-rational. If you're okay with this, so am I.
And lastly, whether or not I'm a nice person is up for each and everyone of you to decide for yourselves. Yes yes yes.
Also, you deserve a round of applause for reading all of this. Champ.
