Sept 11, 2011 - Today is the 10th anniversary of the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade center in New York City. On this day, a group of lunatics and sadists from the Mid East murdered thousands of innocent unarmed civilians... supposedly in the name of a religion, distorting its views and creating world-wide hatred. These people underestimate the resolve of the US to bring them to justice, and they can't begin to comprehend the fury of our response if we are sufficiently provoked further.
May 1, 2011 - Osama bin Laden killed at last. Many thanks to all the men and women of the US Armed Forces who were involved in ending the life of this notorious international terrorist.
January 29, 2011 - I read every comment that's posted, and I've noticed quite a few about John's "covering" of a particular song. The thing to realize is that John himself WROTE these songs - whether on his own, or as part of CCR.
In addition to being a great performer, he is also a great song writer... so it's likely that "cover" you're listening to, is actually being performed by the same person who wrote it in the first place: John.
