I think I usually recorded Full-Size w 60 fps, but its been awhile since I've last recorded. I run my game in windows mode also, if that affects anything.

I got the quality of my MBAC videos by using fraps to record then using virtual dub to compress using xvid codec. It came out pretty nicely with a pretty good quality.
