Hi Rob,

Sorry to bother you again, but I have another silly question. Does the quality of your TV matter when dubbing a laserdisc to DVD? I imagine not, but I thought I'd ask. I'm looking for a DVD recorder now. Is there a model you prefer?

Thanks again!

Hi Rob!

Thanks for your reply! I'm curious to know if you have a favorite model of laser disc player? I am looking at getting a Pioneer CLD-V2800. There is one I can pick up on the cheap locally. Do you have a preferred DVD recorder? Does a capture device offer a much better transfer than just recording straight to a DVD recorder? I was also wondering - if you have a LD with two language tracks, is it possible to transfere both onto a dvd?

Sorry for all of the questions & thanks for your help! I hope you post more examples of your LD transfers soon!
