Hi Rev John- came here cause I saw your video on Temple Of Set a couple of years ago (congrats on that- you're the only person to have released an informative video/interview about them that I can find).
I agree with some of the things you've said about militant atheism- I used to agree with Dawkins a lot at one point, but had a bit of a shift in recent times. I'm really glad I moved away from those opinions, I don't believe in the Abrahamic/monothestic religions but I now think the people practicing them should be respected for their choice in religion- after all, if they like what they believe & practice and aren't hurting anyone how can we be justified in wanting them to stop?

Pauiding, the Order of the Nine Angles began as one man's creative writing project. He wrote some interesting material, even gave me a free copy of his book. But there was never a big, secret, underground organization and David Myatt or Anton Long or whatever he calls himself today, no longer considers himself a Satanist.

I am deeply impressed by your videos. I admire your wisdom. You are one of those rare philosophers who understand the complexity of the world and that there is no black and white.

Enigmatic Physicist: Open your eyes and look around. People are inundated with metaphors that cloud their rationality and alter the way they perceive reality. These symbols are so real, religious zealots are willing to strap on bombs to eradicate themselves and the evil they perceive in this world. Your ability to "reason" with them will not help. We need a different approach. You may have been raised by parents who were analytical and not very religious, so your brain is wired a bit differently - you don't "get it" and that's fine. These metaphors are meaningless to you, but you are not the rest of the world. I perform a public service by making these characters less ill-defined by stripping them of these positive and negative connotations and revealing them for what they truly are - complimentary forces contained within the human psyche.

I don't like how you use characters like God and Satan in analogies portraying concepts of individualism and critical thought that could so easily be portrayed without them. The characters are ill-defined and carry far too much connotation, both positive and negative.
