"The 9/11 Story"
On the morning of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, 19 terrorists, allegedly instructed by Osama Bin Laden, crashed planes in the United States of America as an act of terrorism. The Day began normally in New York, but it would soon become a day of Catastrophe. At 8:46am ET, American Airlines Flight 11 entered low altitudes, flew rapidly south over Manhattan for all to see, and crashed into the Northern side of the World Trade Center's North Tower, causing a huge explosion, followed by acrid smoke billowing out of the building. The Impact Hole reached from the 92nd floor to the 98th floor. The plane struck in such a way that it blocked all the staircases from the 93rd floor up. Because of this, all the people on the 93rd floor and above were lost causes. The people looked up and watched in dreadfulness at the burning skyscraper and watched as people leaped out of the windows, in an attempt to flee the tower. Then, just 17 minutes later it occurred yet again. At 9:03am ET, United Airlines Flight 175 came diving from the South at over 500mph and slammed into the Southern side of the World Trade Center's South Tower, also causing another big explosion and even more acrid smoke. The Impact Hole reached from the 78th floor to the 84th floor. The only fortunate part about this plane impact was that it struck in such an angle that one staircase was left intact and therefore would allow people from the above floors to still have a way out. Both Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were now Burning and America had now realized this was a terrorist attack. Then at 9:37am, American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into the Western side of the Pentagon Building in Arlington, Virginia. At this point, NORADS(North American Aerospace Defense Command) ordered all planes flying over the U.S. to land at the nearest Airports. Also, all planes heading to America were instructed to either turn around or land at the nearest airports in the surrounding countries. Then, when the world thought it couldn't get any worse, it happened! The South Tower of the World Trade Center began to buckle, and Collapsed after burning for exactly 56 minutes. Smoke and debris engulfed Manhattan in just seconds. One twin had now seized from existence and it wouldn't be long before the North Tower of the World Trade Center joined it. Then at 10:03am ET, United Airlines Flight 93, being the last hijacked plane, crashed into a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Apparently, the story behind this plane was the passengers aboard United 93 learned of what had happened to the World Trade Center and knew that they would most likely suffer the same fate. Knowing this, the passengers aboard United Airlines Flight 93 knew that they had to assert themselves and at least attempt to take back the plane from the hijackers. In their attempt the hijackers knew they wouldn't reach their destination, being The U.S. Capital Building in Washington DC, and crashed the plane into an open field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Then at 10:28am ET, The North Tower collapsed and Engulfed Manhattan in acrid smoke one last time. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center were no more and the whole incident lasted only 102 minutes. Then in the end, at 5:25pm ET, World Trade Center 7, being the last World Trade Center left in the WTC complex, collapsed from alleged damage brought on by the collapse of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. In the End, there were over 3000 fatalities
