Urban sprawl has come to a crawl. This $700 million dollar boondoggle/pork project is the biggest waste of money since the Pluto Nash movie was made. There are only 2 reasons traffic sucks thru Stillwater. 1-that damn lift bridge going up and down. 2-the bridge routes traffic thru downtown. Remove those two obstacles, and a two lane bridge would easily flow 30,000-40,000 per day with no problem, just like the Smith avenue high bridge in St. Paul. $50 million total cost, problem solved.

I see the sheep were out in masses listening to the political hypocrite that bachmann is. I'm sure she failed to mention the $700 million dollar boondoggle/pork project she is fighting for in stillwater.

How did Obama/Soetoro go from a dual citizen to a "natural born citizen" that's eligible to be POTUS? Can you please explain this? I must be stupid or something because I just dion't get it.

Why can't we raid the narcoterrorist compounds in Mexico the same way we raided the place where Osama bin Laden was???

That's the $64,000.00 question of the day...

The vast majority of persons opposing the current bridge plan oppose it for one simple reason, the cost. And the cost is so high for 2 reasons, the type of bridge (not the number of lanes) is very expensive to build and the re-alignment of WI-64 to meet with the bridge is extremely costly. By comparison, the new Lafayette bridge near downtown St. Paul is a 6-lane, dual span 3,000+ ft freeway style bridge costing a total of $130 million. The $700 million price tag for the proposed plan in Stillwater is obsolute by today's standards and economics. Things are not the same today as they were in 2000 or 2005. Urban sprawl has come to a crawl. MN & WI are both broke and struggling to make a budget. There are many other transportation projects (potholes included) that could be funded if MN-DOT could come up with a new $150-$200 million dollar plan for the replacement bridge project. I'm praying that Bachmann's bill does not pass so MN-DOT is forced to come up with a reasonable cost solution.

Another thing you said about giving money to people. IF the IRS took less and less money, then more money would go back into the economy through the American people having more of their money to spend. Can this be done?
