Brennan Jarvis was born in Newcastle, NSW, Australia, on May 8, 1992. He moved to the USA in 2000, and later moved to Sydney in 2003 were he completed his HSC. His ambition for filmmaking started at the age of twelve when he began making shorts with his parent's home video camera. But it wasn't till the completion of his HSC film 'Having the Courage to Stand Strong' (2010) when he landed his first job in the directors chair for the short film 'Trek' (2010).
