This webpage is about my handsome boy Sky. I love him so much. It also gives you a glipse of Bichons. They are great dogs!
About Me:
I used to eat only holistic human-grade kibbles but Mama still didn't like the idea of year old cooked meat sitting in a bag being fed to her baby. Then, after Mama studied long and hard about raw feeding, she carefully tried it (under medical supervision) and it has been fantastic for me! Mama believes raw feeding is healthiest but still, owners do need to be careful. Bones can hurt our tummies sometimes. Mama is not so sure about letting me crunch the bones myself, although... occaissionally she does give me a raw turkey neck, then when I get to eating too much bone, she takes it away. Mostly I rip off the meat, which is great, because turkey necks are fantastic for flossing my teeth. Mama will not tell you to feed your dog raw meaty bones, because you really need to know what you're doing, but lots of people do and they swear by it.
Mama feeds me only antibiotic-free, hormone-free, humanely-raised, natural and/or organic, grain-fed meats. She recently heard about PawNaturaw raw and she might let me try it because it has great ingredients and is all organic!
I used to be itchy a lot and even had yucky tear stains. My tear stains got pretty bad even though Mama fed me the highest quality kibble without chemcials and dyes. My hair started to get dull and off-white instead of bright white. Even my previous pearly white puppy teeth started getting tartar buildup. No wonder! Despite the fact that vets and other "experts" claim that kibble cleans teeth, most dogs over the age of 3 years has tartar and some sort of start of periodontal disease. It's like as if human dentists recommend that we eat only cereal to make sure human's teeth stay clean. Not gonna happen!
