Random Super J

Marvel super heroes featured a kick ass soundtrack. One which I feel is often overlooked. All of the characters had great, memorable themes. But if I had to pick one of my favourites it would most certainly have to be Doctor Doom's. It wasn't the kind of theme you would expect a metal man of death in a green dress to have. But it was such a great piece of music which suited his kick ass stage, that you didn't care whether it suited him or not. You appreciated it for what it was: a hot piece of music. For years I'd admired the theme and never once considered giving my take on it. But one night I just had it stuck in my head and had an idea of how to re-arrange it, so I did just that.

This is completely different from any remix I've done before in terms of sound, because it focus more on orchestral sounds and has no elements of dance to it whatsoever. I wanted to capture that sense of serenity and being underwater which the original version evoked and figured what better way to do that than with strings.
