Thank you for visiting the RLSguitar YouTube Channel. My name is Robert Len Stallard and I am a self-taught, solo instrumental guitarist-composer.
I play mostly acoustic guitars with pickups using standard and open tunings along with fingerstyle techniques such as two-hand tapping, harmonics, and a few of my own derivations. Sometimes you might catch me flatpicking and even playing electric guitar. Lately, I have incorporated hybrid electric-acoustic guitars into my playing.
Most of my compositions are very mellow, progressive solo guitar instrumentals. I consider my music to be a progressive fusion of rock, folk, blues, jazz, new age, world music, among other influences. I like to call it "alpha music" since I seek to stimulate your alpha brainwaves, transporting you to a dreamy, meditative state. It is music for nurturing the mind, relaxing the body and soothing the spirit, while contemplating God and Creation.
Being a Catholic, my music expresses Christian values. However, I try not to preach or force my values and beliefs upon others. I just wish to deliver my instrumental music to those who want to listen and hope it touches them in some positive way.
