About Me:
I also strive to bring public awareness to the gaming community. This means I will not hesitate to grant my viewers the knowledge I've acquired on the road to collecting video games, albeit scarce, in my opinion. If I come across a good sale, gaming contest or interesting fact, I promise to share it with you.
It's no secret that the SEGA GENESIS is my favorite console of all time. It doesn't hinder me, however, from enjoying the better part of all the different sytems and their respective games.
Although mine is primarily an ever-growing Sega Genesis collection, I have vowed that for every Genesis-related game, system or peripheral that I purchase, another non-Genesis game, system or peripheral must be acquired. It allows my collection to focus on the Genesis, while still giving value to gaming, overall.
Although I enjoy every video game genre, my favorite three, in order, are as follow:
1. 2D Sidescrolling Platformers
2. RPGs
3. Shmups
Besides the standard controller that comes with virtually every console, my favorite peripheral is the light gun. I've always been fascinated with shooting games.
I also happen to have a unique interest in quirky gaming peripherals; accessories such as the Sega Menacer light gun, the Samba de Amigo Maracas for the Sega Dreamcast, or the TV tunner for the Game Gear, to name a few.
