Eminem born Marshal Bruse Mathers never knew his father he has never even seen a picture of him he stated in an interview in his 1999 smash hit my name is he raps "When u see my dad tell him I slit his throatin this dream i had" (in the clean version he says ask him if he has seen my butt in a porno mag) he ran out on young Marshal and his mom Debbie Mathers when Em turned 2 now Em and his mom moved back and forth between Detroit and Warren he never stayed in one place for more than 6 mounths as a result Marshal found it hard to make friends and read comic books and watched tv he said in an interview "I never opended up untill I was in 8th or 9th grade" When Em was 12 his mom finaly settled down in the east side of detroint there he managed to make friends his mom was suffering from Munchausen Syndrome a medical problem in whitch the parent thinks the child is sick and forces him to go under medical tretement acording to Em he dident live in a drug free home like when he raps 99 persent of my life i was lied to i just found out my mom does more dope than I do i told her i would grow up to be a famous rapper and do a song bout doin drugs and name it after her however Em became close to his mothers brother Ronald Dean Polkingharn who was his uncle Em makes refrences to him in songs including stan and cleanin out my closet he was only 2 mounts older than Em himself he became the only family member Marshal truly loved and was also the 1st person to introduce him to rap in 1981 he played the track Reckless by Ice-T it but lets get back to Eminem's childhood problems he was constently bullied especialy by a kid named D'Angelo Baily who once beat up Marshal so bad he went into a coma em raps about it in his song Brain Damage so when Em was 13 he desided to rap he took the name M&M from his enitles he later changed it to Eminem cus of copy right infringement with the candy compony so throught high school Em rapped and 2 important things happend to him through those years the 1st was that he meat Proof and ina talent show they raped together 2nd was he met his future wife Kim cus of fights at school and not showing up he faild the 9th grade 3 times before he droped out
Em spent his time rap battleing and he also met the rest of what would become D-12 in 1990 he began rapping at the biggest hip hop club in detroit then he was invited to rap on the biggest hip hop radio sttion in Detroit WHYT things seemed all good but then tragety struck in 1991 his friend Ronnie commited suicide hhe was only 19 and did it beacuse his girlfriend broke up with him Em was so muck in pain that he couldent even go to the funeral he stoped rapping and just sat in his room lstening to his freestyle tapes but in 1995 Em had a new joy in his life a daugher Halilie Jade Scott Em loves her more than anything and wanted to be a good father he started rapping againg and picked himself up Em put out his 1st album infident in 1995 he sold it indapendently around detroit but only sold about 1000 copyes of it he got alot of feedback saying that he sounded like Nas he more or less made the album out of his bacement and said that it was just him trying to figure out how he wanted his rapping style to be he made no money from it the CD is no longer sold anymore
In 1996 after Kim had taken his daugher and left him he tried to comit suscide he took alot of pills and colapsed however he lived through it in 1997 he wrote the album the Slim Shaddy EP it is to no longer sold anywhere
after that he won 2nd place at the rap olympics and gained the attention of Dr Dre together they created his Slim Shaddy LP in 1999
in 2000 he released the Marshal Mathers LP
Then There Was The Eminem Show in 2002 In the same year Em came out with a Movie Called 8 mile that was baced on his life the soundtrack included the smash hit Lose Yourself
Then Came Encore in 2004
In the years to floow up untill 2009 Em had a rough time of it struggling with a drug problem and dealing with the deat of friend and fellow artest Proof in 2006 but in 2009 he released Relaps his newest album
so what is next for em well he is planning Relaps 2 and is involved in a fude with Nick Cannon and his Wife he curently has a new song out called the Warning roumerd to be the 1st single form relaps 2 so hope u join this group EMINEM 4 LIFE (-: (more)
