Greetings in Christ to you John,

I am looking forward to seeing the miraculous images of the Theotokos!

By the way, a recent discussion came up about THE SEVEN SLEEPERS OF EPHESUS. Ask your Abuna about this record of Christian history/tradition. Apparently the story originates in the 4th century A.D. (300's A.D.) Surprisingly, Sura 18 from the Quran is a complete plagiarism of this Christian tradition/story. This is one of many things that we can use to help Muslims understand that the Quran is not only a barrowing from the Old Testament, Talmud, Gospels, but also from Christian Orthodox Traditions which should otherwise not be part of the Quran (since the Quran is supposed to be about the uncorupted teachings from the Torah and Gospels).

In Christ, God bless.

St. John the Baptist did tell Jesus that He should baptize him, but this was not the case for the simple reason that Jesus told him that "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fullfill all righteousness." (Matt. 3:15)

This meant that St. John the Baptist had to help fullfill Christ's purpose as the herald of the messiah (just like Elijah is supposed to).

St. John the Baptist was later "baptized" by the blood of his martyrdom according to some traditions.

Shockingly John the Baptist was not baptized, so he seems to be the only sinless man, for the Bible says: he is righteous and Surprisingly Jesus agrees by saying: Among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist Matthew 11:11. The fact is, Jesus was born of a woman.

godthrut- Not true at all what you posted. And thank you very very very much for posting this verse which proves Jesus divinity. The breat of Life that comes down from heaven is Jesus Christ.. He came down from heaven through the work of the Holy Spirit.. thats why He said whoever eats from my Body and drinks my blood presides in ME and I in him.. The bread of life is not a revelation but the manifistatin of Christ. You clealy have not studied the bible at all and just spit out internet stuff.

For the bread of God is he who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world."John 6:33 NIV We all know the bread here is the revelation of Jesus and he made it very clear that his revelation is not for the non Jews when he said: "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs." Matthew 15:26 NIV In fact Jesus also said: "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." Matthew 15:24 He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. John 1:10 NIV

Salaam Al Maseeh to you Pharaoh,

I'm affraid that the more we expose certain aspects of the Islamic faith, there will be certain Muslims that will react negatively to the information. Although our words may do violence to the peace of mind many Muslims have, the reality is that the devil is enraged that we are able to expose his lies by opening the eyes of those who have been lied to. We must continue to beat the devil with the truth of Christ. Our Muslim friends need our help to free them from deceit.

In Christ, God bless.
