	camcavers (1 week ago) I think both the whalers and the anti-whalers are all full of shit... you won't stop whaling by attacking their ships, you'll just make more people there support the whalers; they'll send out the Navy with them next year at this rate. Truth be told the whalers are fighting a losing battle; their product is unpopular and most of it rots away, and Japan's population is dwindling as people don't have enough children to support growth. Support for whaling is highest among generations born immediately after WW2 and earlier; Japan may have a long average lifespan but even the tail end of that demographic is heading into its senior years.
