About Me:
One of my greatest passions is in exotic cars and motorcycles. My all-time favorites would include the Lamborghini Reventon, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4, the Aston Martin DB9 & Vanquish S, and the Honda Valkyrie Rune motorcycle.
Over the past seventeen years, I've been lucky enough to see much of the United States and the world, and to have delved into multiple foreign cultures and languages. These opportunities have allowed me to volunteer as an English teacher to both children and adults throughout China and Japan for several years. I currently speak fluent Cantonese, Japanese and, of course, English.
I also enjoy and participate in many outdoor activities--sports such as rock-climbing, mountain-biking and long-distance running. I've competed in several races, including the year 2000 St. George, Utah Marathon. Martial arts is another passion of mine; over the past ten years I've achieved the rank of black belt in both Japanese Karate and Korean Taekwondo.
Nowadays, my true passion is physically and mentally training each and every day for the Ninja Warrior obstacle course competition in Japan. In February, 2009, I submitted an entry video to G4TV for a chance to compete on the show. Unfortunately, I was turned down. Unwavering from my original goal, I traveled to California in August for G4's American Ninja Warrior tryouts, for a chance to compete in the Fall, 2009 Sasuke Competition.
Again, I was frustrated by failure.
However, despite these crushing disappointments and horrific setbacks, I've decided to push myself harder than ever before, so that I might be ready for Sasuke 24 next Spring. I will NOT give up! I will NOT lose my dream! I will continue to fight the good fight, till the day I stand atop Mount Midoriyama as a true Ninja Warrior.
