While driving around the CN Yard in Homewood, I noticed an EJ&E SD38-2 switching around with the Markham Local. I also noticed something blue behind it. I drove closer to get a better look and to my surprise, there was a Metra in tow. Metra F40PH 119 was enroute to Kankakee, IL., where it would be set out for a trip to Paducah, KY., for rebuilding. Awesome! I took a drive to Monee, to get a shot off the overpass in town. You could hear that EJ&E for miles. So, to sum up: An EJ&E and a Metra together....something that someone would NEVER expect to see.
