Nate Robinson is a former pupil of late renowned violinists Sidney Harth (Concertmaster of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and Los Angeles Philharmonic), and Erick Friedman, the famed violinist who was a protégé of Jascha Heifetz (considered by many as one of the greatest classical concert violinists of all time).
Nate has performed with orchestras worldwide and appeared in recital at such venues as Carnegie Hall and Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center.
In addition he can be heard on many leading Hollywood soundtracks for films by Paramount, Disney,and others. He recently appeared in performances with Sting for his Symphonicities tour with the Royal Philharmonic and was an on screen violinist in the movies: 'Sex and The City 2', 'When In Rome', and 'Step Up 3-D.'
He has performed on both modern and antique violins, including the ex- Rabin, Andrea Amati, crafted in 1560, and a violin by Phillip Injeian, made in 2004.
