What is it you feel you're unable to say and that's making you all angry?? I believe in free speech but I don't believe I have the right to incite violence against others I don't like through that speech. The determinants of "hate" are cultural conventions. These conventions may vary from culture to culture. Nevertheless, as societies have progressed and become more diverse and pluralistic, sensitivity towards hatred has also increased. Indeed, what may have been completely acceptable 100 years ago, would be unacceptable today. So indeed, society itself is one of the best mechanisms for the censorship of vile and fateful content. This is achieved through the processes of shame, shunning and disengagement of the perpetrators.
