About Me:
 
Don't know why my latest edit was replaced with the old description, but anyway, I still don't make videos. I won't until I leave my current job (or it leaves me!) Some quick background: I have degrees and experience in education, electronics, and linguistics. Spent 14 years working in elctromagnetic compatibility (IEC standards compliance), mainly on light-based, non-invasive medical monitors. It was a chilling experience to watch companies make "cost/benefit" decisions based on how many people would die vs. how much profit they could make before being caught. My testing involved short and long field emissions, radiated and conducted emissions up to 3 GHz, and spotting random remote RF coupling phenomena from accidental antennas formed within electronic circuitry. I now design web-based training for emergency management & responders, which means a top secret clearance (this is NOT an honor, merely a necessary PAIN). I look forward to a time when I can return to my home in Colorado, grow my veggies, and try NOT to understand what I'm seeing in the sky.
