I had that prob for a while. What I do now, is record simple chords. For example: ( G, D, F) Get a cool sound. Record it. Now re-play what you recorded, and play some lead guitar with it. Once you get the two guitars playing, something may come to you. Its not easy to write songs, so dont take it too hard. We all have the same prob. If it was easy, we'd ALL be rich :P
