Ryan Mooney is an actor based in Manhattan, hailing from Staten Island, New York. Ryan has trained at NYC's famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. He recently wrote, produced and starred in "Something About Ryan". Its a sitcom pilot chronicling his misadventures that come about while living with his family in Staten Island. The sitcom has recently won several television awards, as well as official selections for various festivals. "Something About Ryan" is now going into production as a web comedy series.

In addition, Ryan has also appeared in an off-off Broadway play in the recent comedy "Kung Foolery" (at the Algonquin Theater), as well as the comedy/variety play "Happy Hour" at the 45th Street Theatre in New York City.
