How I started singing on YT.... HRMMM.


I started singing in my church, then in the chorus in middle school and high school, and in show choir. I never really stood out much as a singer, however being one of three boys in a chorus of over 50 women at the ending years of high school, there wasn't much roles for us men.

I hadn't sung in 4 or so years outside of my car or the shower until I started talking with some friends in skype. Someone linked me to the YT Chorus site which perked my interest. I asked a few questions around, my friends who had already made dubs and some personal research on the matter got me started with enough knowledge to mix a song. After mixing my first song I was excited, and compared to the other things I was doing with my time, they seemed lame in comparison.

At first I didn't like Vocaloid songs. I for the most part, STILL THINK THEYRE LAME, but I always liked the digital beats towards the tech side. Personally I think that Vocaloid songs aren't brought to life until they are covered by enthusiastic singers.

I don't speak a dime of Japanese. I don't memorize lyrics, I read them straight up off of notepad. I'm nothing special, but I have fun, and that makes it special to me.
