In 1994 Matthew was born in Chicago to his mother and father. By the time Matthew was seven, he showed interest in music and playing instruments. So, his parents put him through piano lessons which he hated and eventually he was kicked out, for lack of practicing, or even caring at all. So he picked up his dads old Les Paul and found a big attraction. He formed a band with his friend Harry (Both age 8) and they studied every aspect of being rock stars. In 2005 Matt moved to upstate New York and had no friends for the entire summer. But he didnt mind because he had so much free time to study the guitar. For hours at a time, everyday, Matt would teach himself guitar and figure out his favorite songs. He had never taken lessons and after the piano lesson disappointment, he decided to just teach himself. By 2006 he had a band with some guys he met at the junior high school- they called themselves Karnival. Matt played lead guitar for songs like Thunderstruck by AC/DC and Every Rose has its Thorn by Poison. Things were going smoothly for Matt and the band, but in 2007 he moved to a small town in Minnesota. Here, he was blessed to attend a few incredible concerts and to meet his guitar idol- Slash. By this time in Matts life, he had decided that he wanted to play music for ever and do nothing else. He began song writing and singing. Matt surprised everyone after their first summer in Minnesota when he had written over 26 songs. In 2008 Matt formed a few bands and still is playing in a few. Currently Matt is recording (from his home) an album. On these tracks Matt plays: guitar, piano, drums, bass, percussion, synthesizer, and vocals. This album will be available for purchase soon
