Another strange thing that is not explained in the documentary you posted is how these vehicles seem to defy inertia, stopping dead while flying at top speed, and hitting top speed instantaneously from a dead stop. Quite odd that they would leave out the most baffling aspects of flying saucer flight. Seems like they would want to explain that stuff.

I seems strange that these early flying saucers in the mid-1940s were supposedly propelled using jet engines, yet most witnesses of that time period describe the discs as being completely silent, even at close range. Is there an explanation for how this was done? I wonder why we aren't using the silent jet engines on all of our military jets. Seems like it would provide a strategic advantage.
