Father Malachi Martin (1921-1999) was a Catholic priest, theologian, and Professor at the Vatican's High Pontifical Biblical Institute.

He wrote and talked at length about several subjects that should be of interest not only to Catholics, but to Christians at large, and indeed to everyone who cares to study the world as it is nowadays:

- The radical transformation that took hold of the Church from Vatican II onwards, by making it clear that the Church was fast on its way to become secularized, to lose her cultural authority and identity, and to become just another non-governmental organization, put on par with thousands of others;

- He stated that this was the result of a centrally organized attack against the Church, perpetrated by her secular and spiritual enemies, most notably strongmen oligarchs, Freemasonry and World Socialism. He also stated that, while most of this attack was done by the manipulation of mainstream culture, a large component of it was *infiltration*. I.e., lots of clergymen were under marching orders to help destroy the Church from within. They then set the new norms and trends that good unwitting Catholics would follow;

- The intent of bringing the Church down, and discrediting Christianity, was always to allow for the creation of a new world order, purely based on Malthusian Economics -- one where human life will only be measured by its value to the 'community' and to the marketplace. In that new order, international agencies and oligarchs must be faced as the sole source of moral authority by an apathetic and placid public, as all the old moral rules concerning the dignity of life are to be torn apart;

- He talked at length about satanic groups and their practices (black masses, etc) and how these groups where pretty much eclectic in their composition, being staffed by people from all walks of life, including a *great number* of decision-makers in the private and public sectors;

- Fr. Malachi also mentioned that the Church herself had been afflicted by a very strong satanic presence within her own structure.

- He also wrote and talked lengthily about one of his métiers: Exorcism, and the subjects of demonic possession and obsession.
