It is no longer the old England so often depicted in American movies. It is a vibrant, multicultural and progressive country, no longer adhering to the conservative way of life as was the case 30 or 40 years ago. If you visit the country, you'll find that the image of the country (as it is often depicted in American movies) is rather false.
