Theory of Tobi=Obito. My Proof:

Tobi could be a revived form of Obito. Remember we last saw Obito crushed by boulders in the Grass nation during the Kakashi Gaiden. First, lets look at some facts to further strenthen our theory. O-bi-to. To-bi. The names use some of the same characters, just in a different order. I also read wayyy back in the day when the manga first came out that kishi loved dbz in an interview, and it was what got him started into mangas. He said his favorite character was uub. That points directly too the fact that he liked the reviving off buu into uub. buu=uub as obito=tobi. Tobis masks pattern also ends where his right, (and only remaining eye) would be. Also, remember we last saw Obito crushed by boulders in the grass nation and he in now in the accompaniment of missing grass nin Zetsu. Zetsu might have been able to save him, or sasori or kakazu with their body repairing techniques of he was still alive, wich when he was under the boulder he still was. But how? Well.... lets think. There have been many ways discovered that can bring people back to life. We don't know what Akatsuki is up to, they may have discovered a way to bring people back to life when Pein was in Akatsuki with his body changing jutsu. Tobi also has pins covered throughout the rite side of his body and some on the left, wich were the sides that was crushed. He also could have been brought back to life, but was horribly disfigured in the incident when he was crushed, that would explain him being covered head to toe, except his rite eye wich was the untaken eyes side. If you were horribly disfigured, would you go showing off your scars and injuries to people? That and Tobi has black hair, Obito had black hair.
Tobi had said to the Akatsuki leader Pein, "My power, Uchiha Madaras Powers." He never said, "I am Uchiha Madara." Madara would be 140+ y/o and I doubt he would act childish as the first ever uchiha, he would act like a leader and have more authority for himself. As Kisame said, "Tobi brought humor to akatsuki." I very well doubt a 140+ year old man would act as lively as Tobi does. Tobi acts like obito, name sounds like his, and physically looks like him. There's no more proof needed for me to believe it's obito under that mask.

It seems like a good theory, because its got facts to back it up, but still, its not confirmed. Why take half a manga volume to introduce two characters who arent' going to matter later on? They could have just simply shown how Kakashi got his sharingan eye in a sentence or two, about how he got it from his best friend when they died. That would be two sentences. Why take up half a manga volume for the equivelent of two sentences??? It just screams for continuity.
NEW TOP IDEA I GOT!!!! So Kakashi has mangekyou now as we all know and as the words of Itachi in the river when they met eachother, "This is my bloodline limit, only uchihas can activate it." Just him saying it's his bloodline limit that means kakashi wouldn't be able to activate it unless he had uchiha blood. If Obito was still alive and got mangekyou when he was younger after he got brought back to life or saved, then his other eye with kakashi would be affected too because it's his blood in that eye. And when Itachi used mangekyou on kakashi, he was able to copy it because mangekyou was already unlocked from obitos side, all he needed to do was have it used so he could copy it. There realy isn't another explanation for kakashi having mangekyou. People say he blamed himself for obitos death, either way he couldn't have gotten it cuz it's a bloodline limit.

A comment I got once was: Obito was weak, he couldn't have been akatsukis leader.
My answer: obito was weak, your rite, but he improved as he got his sharingan. Naruto is almost the same as obito, naruto is progressing at an amazing rate, he's even created one of the strongest jutsus out there in the manga so far. Obito, as a sharingan user would progress just as well as naruto because there are still 3 more stages in his sharingan he could unlock wich are 3 tomoe (those dots in the eyes you see), predicts motions even better copies jutsu better, and the 4 tomoe circle one wich amplifies the third tomoes powers by alot and the mengekyou sharingan wich he obviously has because he said madaras powers and he was the one itachi was talking about who unlocked it. Just considering those powers alone wich after 20 years obito could've easily unlocked he is obviously extremly strong. Think, obito was like naruto, progessed almost the same way, but it was 10+ years before narutos time so take narutos skill and add ten more years to his battle expreince. Can you not see almost a god like figure who is incredibly strong and at the same time a immortal uchiha? That is how obito/tobi would've became the leader of akatsuki. If you see any more holes in tobi=obito tell me so i can add the explanations to my theory. ^.^
