Hello Mathworks! And Best Regards from a long time proponent AND a very early adopter of Matlab. I was able to pioneer the use of Matlab in our department in the mid-1980's while a Post Doc at MIT. It came as a set of a few 3.5" floppy disks and ran under DOS (!) on my desktop IBM XT computer, if recollection serves. The key concept of a software environment for Computational Linear Algebra combined with an intuitive natural language interface was a true Miracle. It enabled many many of my own scientific accomplishments over the years.

When I used 'pixval' command in matlab 2009b, it said pixval is removed. Y?

I'd recommend posting your question to the MATLAB central newsgroup. It would also help them to answer if you included some example MATLAB code too.

Can you help me please with a matlab problem. You know that when we type a script to find the machine realmin, that number is smaller than the actual number in matlab. I would like you please if you explain that briefly.
