After I did my valve adjustments the valves still rattle also once I put the car in gear the idle gets extremely low almost to where it is about to die I suspect either the carb or the dizzy is the issue.

My car has not the original colour. It is blue metallic
Original it was cypress green. In 2011 the car will fixed. I start with a body off restoration.
Afterwards it is a new car again.
I am just back from a trip to Danmark. In 5 days I drove nearly 1900 km (about 1200 miles) without a problem.
It is always a joy to drive the car
Your car was about $ 300? That is for free. Enjoy it. The sound is OK and the looks are nice.
