Were the world mine - Relax Take It Easy

Video clips: From the gay themed musical "Were the World Mine".
Song: "Relax (Take it Easy)" by Mika
Were the World Mine is one of those rare gems of a movie not just worth renting but actually owning a copy for yourself. It's that good! It is the musical story of a gay teen named Timothy going to an all boy prep school in a small town. Timothy is bullied and harassed by the school jocks except for Jonathon, the star athlete. Timothy's situation changes dramatically when he is cast as "Puck" in the senior class production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by William Shakespeare, a story of potions and star-crossed lovers. In the pages of his script Timothy finds a recipe for a love potion. Life soon begins to imitate art when he creates his own version of the aphrodesiac and releases it on the town. Beautiful music, adorable and talented actors, and the right balance of humor and social commentary moves this movie to the top of my list.
Editors Note: Before you purists reprimand me on my choice of music I will have you know that the song that I used actually does appear briefly in the movie as part of a montage scene, parts of which I edited into the beginning of this video. But do listen to the original soundtrack of the movie, it's quite lovely. Show less
