Darkseid (not "Darkside") is from DC comics and he is a villian.He first appeared in the series "The new gods" by Jack Kirby back in 1971 and is an enemy of someone who is actually his son (Orion) and Superman.He played a big role a few years back like in '08 in the story arc "Final crisis" in the comics.
