I groove on the original independent soul-filled tunes! If its not real I don't care to spend my time with it. My family and Grandfather (RIP) Jimmy Isle inspires me in more than one way. Look him up, a few of his Sun records are here on the tube! Abbe Lewis helped me grow individually as a musician and will always inspire me. Damian Rice's down-to-earth Irish-folk style, as well as Samuel Beam's, capture the mood when I'm coming up with new material. Both Sam and Damian's concerts are very coherent and uniquely expressive. Son House and his own expression most definately inspires me when it comes to my own personal expressive nature. John Butler is a big influence with his southern-ska groove he's got going on, as well as his own personal story . Jack White is also a big inspiration as far as style and attitude go for guitar playing. His fat blues and blunt expressions grip my ears. Anyone who does something serves his or her purpose for something bigger inspires me
