About Me:
as always, i appreciate you checking out my channel and hope that you are enjoying my blends. i apologize that i am not very good with replying msgs and e-mails. currently my mind is occupied with 50% anatomy, 35% friends i study with and 15% food, and even now i feel like i should cut down on food a little bit to get more anatomy in, so please don't take it personally when you don't hear anything back from me. also, i love the comments that you write on my profile. they really do mean the world (one of my other worlds, i should say) to me and they really keep me going. and guys, yes, i am in med school, but that doesn't mean that i will stop making music. my relationship to music is similar to my relationship to God; it is something that is continuous, enjoyable and growing that has already become a part of me. so don't worry, i will keep doing what i like doing (though it may be very slow at times). thanks guys! God bless you.

FAQ:
Q1. What program do you use to make your blends?
A: I use the program Adobe Premiere, which is a video editing program. Originally, I had no idea that I could make these blends at all, but a few years ago I had a chance to learn Adobe Premiere and found out that I can edit sound files as well. So ever since then, I just stuck with Premiere.
Q2. How do you make your blends?
A: Usually I look for beats first. Whenever I hear a head nodding beat, I try to see whether I can find or make the instrumental. If there is an officially released instrumental, great. If not, then I make the instrumental by finding parts of the song where there are not lyrics, then copying those parts and pasting them together to make loops. Once I've got the instrumental, then I just play that beat on a media player, and at the same time I play different acapellas on another media player so that I can hear both at the same time. Whenever there's a click, I import both the instrumental and the acapella to Adobe Premiere and try to match the speed and the pitch. Then I find pretty pictures and upload! Pretty much.
Q3. Could you please make a blend using this beat and that acapella?
A: This one is hard to say. I appreciate your love and passion for music. But I am sorry to say that I cannot guarantee anything for you. To explain a bit more, I don't just come up with instant click in my brain thinking "I'm going to mix this beat with that acapella, and it's going to sound great!" I must admit that sometimes I do, and it works great. However, most of the time it's purely an "accident" so to speak, that I come up with these blends while I play around with music files the way I mentioned above. Plus, unlike the mechanism behind having a deadline sufficiently improving my ability to study for exams or do homeworks, music doesn't work that way. Having the pressure of "Man, I promised this guy that I'll make these blends, but I can't find a right fit!" does not seem to help my creativity. BUT, I WILL listen to the suggestions you make and try out different things. But please do not be disappointed or mad at me for not being able to directly say yes to your requests.
Q4. Are you Korean?
A: Yes and no. I am a Korean in a sense that my entire family is Korean and that I speak or type Korean more comfortably than English sometimes and also that I spent my adolescent years in Korea before I started high school in the US. I am an American in that I was born in the US and have a US citizenship and also that I decided to live in the US and become an American since I started high school in Oregon.
Q5. Do you have myspace?
A: No, I do not have myspace. However, a surprising number of people have suggested me to make a myspace page and I am looking into that.
Q6. Dude you should make money off your talent. Are you putting out a mixtape?
A: I really appreciate your compliments, but no, I should not make money off my talent because I fear that the involvement of money will only make things much more complicated for me even to the degree that it will hurt my freedom and joy to do what I am doing now. Also, putting out a mixtape would make things even more complicated because of all the copyright issues that I would have to face due to the nature of my work. I don't even know where to look or who do contact to initiate such a task.
Alright, I think that's all I can think of now. I'll do an update whenever I think of something else.
Oh, and also, I made some comments about some of the negative comments on my early works (songs such as common - the 6th sense, nas - get down, common - the light, nas - book of rhymes, J5 - what's golden, jay-z - encore, december 4th blends) and it was a real good opportunity for me to re-organize my thoughts, make a few things clear, and say something back to both haters and healthy critics and they were all from my heart, so if you want to check'em out, check'em out.
enjoy!
