Born and raised in the inner city of Los Angeles, the CEO of The Roberts Company, Shaphan Roberts is speaking from experience when discussing "How To....Business."
He started his first business as a senior in high school promoting and marketing artists through barbershops and retail chains. His efforts won him a contract with Sony Records to promote artists on their roster.
Since then, he's spent time as a journalist, investment advisor and now maintains a consultant's position with several successful companies.
"Although I appreciate every step I've taken, if I had access to the information and resources that I now know are available, I could have shaved a good 5 years off the trip. Our goal is to find others with similar ambition and help them get there quicker."
