Carlos was born unto a poor but caring family in the city of sin itself. You won't find anything fancy about his lifestyle, anything that involves large amounts of money is completely out of the picture. Moving from the south-western part of the U.S, all the way to the north-east to start a new life with his two siblings (brother, sister) and his mother, life was turning out a little better, they still barely made ends meet.
Living in the urban area of Waterbury, CT. Solo wasn't able to make friends in the urban community, growing up he was always ridiculed of his racial background. Family problems were consistent throughout his life, but even in the darkest of times he could always find a light to escape to. He has always had a passion for art, creation has always stunned him.
Sixth grade of middle school is when everything would change for the talented song-writer. Throughout elementary school he would enjoy drawing, playing video games and just being weird. Once middle school came, he was introduced to the art of song writing. Something simple as preschool rhymes intrigued Solo like no other form of art.
High school is when the skinny teenager would decide to finally take his
song-writing to the next level. He decided to display his art in the form of rapping, enjoying it very much. Instead of doing school work, he would be in the back of the class writing poetry or rap. It wouldn't stop their though, Solo wanted to express his art on a wider scale. In order to do this though, he had to sound more unique from the rest.
Coming to an end of his high school years, is when Carlos would decide to take up the challenge of learning how to sing. He began to record music in a more serious manner, making Hip-hop, R&B, and even Pop songs. Not even the sky was the limit for him, pushing himself harder on every song he wrote, he learned more of the art and grew a deep love for it.
January 1st, 2011 is when Solo would win his first song-writing contest. His R&B/Pop song "Thank God That I Know You" has won him the Songwriter Universe "Song Of The Month" held by Dale Kawashima. Solo is yet to prove himself to be a great music artist, only time will tell when his talent will shine. Until then, he still enjoys playing video games, hanging out with his few friends, making Youtube videos and interacting with extra-terrestrial life form.
