Did you reflux and reheat the board? (very important) The flux is the issue on most, and use really good thermal paste. Sony uses ceramic junk that just burns off and burns the flux off the solder joints.(hence ylod) At least they didn't fuck up on design like the xbox. Also think about buying a very small personal fan(one u plug in) or make a usb powered fan and stick it behind the system. I made one with two junk power supplies with 2, 2 1/2in fans out of both used the case to house them then hooked it to junk usb cable. Check youtube there are good vids.
