http://geeks.pirillo.com/ - I was invited to join the USS Nimitz crew this past week. They allowed me to sit in "Vulture's Row" and record this experience. Words can't describe how awesome it was to watch the full orchestration of this take-off.
I used a http://go.tagjag.com/vado to record.

Nuclear Aircraft Carrier Charles de Gaulle (CDG). Focus on the Steam Catapults used to launch the jets. The Steam Catapults technology is originally from Great-Britain but is only operated by USA, France and Brasil (on the Sao Paulo). French catapults are also US tech as the CDG builders thought it would be cheaper to buy the American system instead of developping their own that would do the same job. This vid is about this system and how it works. This vid shows Rafale while beeing launched. Most of the cockpit shots are from the SEM "Super Etendart Modernisé". Some shots of the guardians helos. One of them is callled "Pedro" (the guard dog) on the Charles de Gaulle NAC.

U.S. Naval Forces Central Command Area of Responsibility (Jan. 9, 2007) -- A plane director moves an E-2C Hawkeye assigned to the "Tigertails" of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron One Two Five (VAW-125) into launch position aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Also depicted are F/A-18 Hornets being taxied and launched from the carrier. Eisenhower and embarked Carrier Air Wing Seven (CVW-7) are on a regularly scheduled deployment in support of Maritime Security Operations (MSO). MSO help set the conditions for security and stability in the maritime environment, as well as complement the counter-terrorism and security efforts of regional nations. These operations deny international terrorists use of the maritime environment as a venue for attack or to transport personnel, weapons or other material. U.S. Navy video (RELEASED)
