That's probably the first gay joke I ever heard and even though I can see the humour in it I still find it completely offensive that so many gay jokes are so blatant and invasive. Then, the paradox - your offended, you object, but rather than you're objection really being heard you're told you're being touchy and everybody needs to be able to poke fun at themselves.
