Some clips of things ive made and some clips of things im learning to play and maybe some other stuff as well.
About Me:

Im an artist / maker based in London I bought my first banjo in October 2008 and have been addicted to it ever since. I soon realised that I wanted other types of banjo but couldn't afford to buy them, so decided to make them for fun... and maybe even sell the odd one or two if I can bare to part with them. I'm learning to play old timey American as well as British folk (I love the connection between the two). I also make Cigarbox guitars and other primitive noise makers.
Country:
United Kingdom
Occupation:
Artist / Prop maker / Fine Art Fabricator / instrument maker / welder / mechanic...generally maker of things. Other website www.johndeller.co.uk
Interests:
Hiking, making things, Hung Kuen Kung-Fu, growing veg
Movies:
Those old dark B/W british films from the 60s like Saturday night Sunday Morning, Peter Sellers films. Basically anything thats interesting...cant stand most blockbuster Hollywood movies.
Music:
Everything from traditional British Folk to Rockabilly. Punk, 70s electro pop, European Gypsy folk, Psychobilly and evertything that spins of around the edges that wears intersting clothes, unusual hairdos, or makes strange noises with strange machines.
Books:
Biographies about musicians, artists, scientists and inventors. Books about science and nature, Arthur C. Clarke, Moby Dick etc.
