I like how you keep asking Sen. Jeff Merkley the tough questions. Keep it up, and maybe Oregonians will start to see him for the the hypocrite that he is.

I'm confused. Those Union guys look like they are about to kill someone.

If you ask you boss for a raise, you'd better have another job lined up, because what are you going to do when he says, "no"?

Employee Freedom doesn't allow for Freedom of Speech on their vids! LMAO All comments must be "Comment pending approval". Says a LOT for who really is for Freedoms - it's not the anti-Union people. Typical hypocracy.

The ultra rich Washington power base must think the middle class is dumb; as if they care about workers rights. The Washington power base is trying to divide the middle class so we no political power. We got them on the run so lets keep them running, call your representatives and have them support EFCA. And no you will not lose the secret ballot.

In the debate over legislation to expand employees right to choose union representation in the workplace, the organized business lobby has been drumming up fears that enactment of the Employee Free Choice Act would kill jobs by forcing more employers out of business. That claim is not borne out by historical data or existing credible research, compare data on business failures among unionized and similar nonunion firms and concludes that unionized businesses are no more likely than nonunion ones to fail.

Congratulations. You're a dumb ass. The secret ballot still exists under the EFCA, just on employees' watch, not employers. Employers can't force employees into a vote this way. It's a good thing.

Classic Classist Rovain confusion tactics.

I wouldn't have a problem with a "secret ballot" for a union election, but it HAS TO be a secret from EMPLOYERS too. Companies can't hire Jackson-Lewis to bust the union, fire workers who are union friendly, interview to captive audiences and still claim that the ballot is "secret".
