"Quiet on the set. And...ACTION !!!" While you watched Roy Rogers ride Trigger on TV as a child, Cynthia Royal was on the Hollywood set, watching it being filmed. Today, this internationally acclaimed 'horse guru' and California native relates to horses in a way that can only be described as 'WOW!" Whether for the camera or a live audience, Cynthia says, "Performing with multiple horses dancing freely around me or trusting a 1,200 pound horse to charge me on command and rear up on its hind legs, hooves flashing only inches from my head is the ultimate thrill!" It's also proof of what's possible when a partnership is built on trust, connection and positive experiences, demonstrated by the relationship she shares with her horse Blanco, who starred as Shadowfax in the blockbuster Lord of The Rings movies.

While Cynthia has a gift for relating to animals, it's her exposure to conventional and natural horse training -- both based on physical and/or emotional domination -- that led to her realization forcing each other to conform isn't the way one sentient being should relate to another. So rather than weilding a bigger stick, Cynthia decided to offer a sweeter 'carrot'...a choice that's had amazing results.

But it wasn't until a carpe diem moment - after food poisoning resulting in 5 heart surgeries and a brush with death - that Cynthia achieved the clarity she'd been waiting for to focus on a mission of aspiring to inspire others through her own life's journey.
