You hate Max Blumenthal the loathing self-hater as much as I do. Thank you...I'm happy that I'm not alone with my views. I'm not a very religious Jew...but I'm downright appauled of Blumenthal's behavior. He's the perfect dare I not say the term Jewish version of an "Uncle Tom" for anti-Semites and other Jew-haters to happily use as a human shield to prance around with?

and this is what happens to Jewish leaders who give away Jewish land:

The Israeli withdrawal from Gaza was interpreted by the Palestinians as a Hamas victory and the January Palestinian legislative election, 2006 was won by Hamas, which rejected all agreements signed with Israel, refused to recognize Israel's right to exist, and claimed the Holocaust was a Jewish conspiracy.
On April 14, 2006, Ariel Sharon was incapacitated by a severe hemorrhagic stroke, and Ehud Olmert became Acting Prime Minister.

Arab attacks on isolated Jewish settlements and British failure to protect the Jews, led to the creation of Haganah (Defense) a mainly socialist Jewish militia dedicated to defending Jewish settlements. Following the 1929 Arab riots, the Revisionist Zionist leader, Jabotinsky, created a right-wing militia called the Irgun Tzvai Leumi (National Military Organization, known in Hebrew by its acronym "Etzel"), this smaller group temporarily merged with Haganah in the thirties.

the increased persecution of European Jews by the European Fascist powers (such as the Third Reich) resulted in a marked increase in Jewish immigration.
The rapid increase in Jewish migration led to a large-scale Arab rebellion in Palestine from 1936-1939. The Jewish Agency leader, Ben-Gurion responded to the revolt with Havlagah, a policy of not responding to Arab attacks in order to prevent polarization. The Etzel left the Haganah because of its failure to avenge Arab attacks on Jews.

a list of wonderful nations which occupied that land and how they fared...in case you didn't know your history...which clearly seems to be the case:

the only people who EVER made anything grow on that land were the Jewish people. anyone else who was there, lived in a barren wasteland...and when they did try to grow anything, it never grew.

again...read history.

Crusaders...wasteland....Mamluks...wasterland...Turks...Wasteland....Arabs (i'm sorry to say)...more or less wasteland...with a few olive trees here and there.

does that give you an idea as to who should be there?

and btw Yemilady...i was in both side of Jerusalem...the Jewish side and the Arab side.

put it to ya this way...Arabs need to hire a cleaning lady or at least learn how to manage the garbage on their side of the city.

and then, what they can do is start up their own hi-tech and bio-tech firms and world class universities...and then we can have a conversation about who's land this really is.

thanks in advance.

and go read the history of the "Palestinians" and where they come from.

Jordan didn't want them, Egypt didn't want them, Lebanon didn't want them, Syria didn't want them.

they are being used as a pawn by their own people, to further the path of destruction against Israel.

they could have had their own country/state years ago. they refused at every conference and meeting. Arafat was offered 96% of the West Bank and he said no.

what does this tell you? that the Palestinian leadership doesn't want peace.(unlike the people who actually do). it wants to destroy Israel. this is what the world doesn't get. or maybe they do get it and are also on board with this "peace talks" and "road map to peace" nonsense, in their underlying desire to see Israel be no more.

Yemilady...go back and read your history. that land wasn't stolen...it was BOUGHT.

someone severely brainwashed you.

and i'm sorry but Jews didn't have control of Jerusalem until ARABS STARTED A WAR WITH THEM IN 1967...WHICH THEY LOST.

again...history...not bullshit distortions. Arafat was a master at PR and propaganda. I can see he has a very captive audience.
