I apologize for not replying sooner.
The problem with using PayPal is that from what I understand, they are exceptionally prudish. Though Death Dealing Dames films are relatively PG-13, they do push envelopes, and I think if I used PayPal, the chances of them freaking out and freezing my account was very high. From what I've read, PayPal is so touchy that even if I just asked them whether my site was okay, if they didn't think it was, they would go ahead and close my account to make sure I don't use it for the site. So I didn't want my PayPal account anywhere near the website.
The problem I was facing was that I wasn't making enough to justify getting a merchant account with my bank or paying for a credit card processor, and PayPal would most likely shut me down within a month if I started using them. AlertPay seemed to be the best option; they're just like PayPal except less prudish. But the downside is that nobody trusts them.
